Winter is a beautiful season but if you are destitute, it is a dreadful time filled with misery and heartache. With no warm clothes and bedding you are constantly trying to keep warm and hoping for a bit of sunshine to heat up the day. Imagine living in a corrugated home, with a leaking roof and hunger that overcomes you. This unfortunately, is the reality for many of our families.  It is for this reason that we run our Winter Jersey and Blanket Drive every year.  We had an overwhelming response with 401 knitted items being donated to date plus knitted teddies. Thank you to all our avid knitters and donors.  You have helped us to create a bit of warmth in someone’s life.
